The event monitoring (EM) suite provides a Complex Event Processing
capabilities. Events from an eco system flow through adapters that
perform suitable transformations and aggregations. The event streams
pass through a set of smart rules rules designed to detect patterns and
routed to business process / workflow systems for action. The
time-stamped events are captured in a data mart for event related
reports and trends in the eco system.
The generic framework can be used in different domains to build event
monitoring and analytics solutions. This framework is particularly used
in Action Vector Service Assurance Solution for detecting infrastructure
problems and creating tickets in ticketing workflow system for tracking
and resolving problems through well-defined workflows. Infrastructure
covered in this solution included desktops, servers, databases, java
virtual machines and network devices. Service Level monitoring at the
business service level spanning multiple infrastructure components make
this solution a compelling need.

The BPM suite of products takes Business
Event Monitoring further to facilitate modelling, automation
and monitoring of business processes. The Solution suite
consists of a set of functional modules that are required
in each phase of the process management life cycle namely
the process modeling, process configuration and deployment
and process execution, monitoring operations and maintenance
phases. The solution components are aligned with typical
